Nicolò Donà dalle Rose is a Senior Manager at Maxar Intelligence. Donà collaborates with commercial customers and partners to enable Earth observation applications ranging from mapping and navigation to intelligence and simulation.

Prior to joining Maxar, Donà spent over seven years at strategy consultancy Avascent – now part of Oliver Wyman – where he grew to become a Director in its Space practice. He has worked with strategic and financial clients across the world, spending years based in Washington, London, and New York. Donà directed engagements underpinning the acquisitions of multi-billion dollar satellite operators and space companies, the development of business cases for the launch and operation of new constellations, as well as a variety of strategic and organizational initiatives at private and public sector organizations.

While at Avascent, he contributed to the kick-off of the Apogee series, providing insights on critical issues shaping the space industries. Over the years, he has spoken on panels on the topic of Earth observation and has been featured in SpaceNews, among other publications. Donà is also an Advisor to the Georgetown University Space Initiative, seeking to instill excitement in a new generation of space professionals. He is a graduate of the Center for Strategic and International Studies’ Accelerator Program and has interned at the European Parliament and the Council on Foreign Relations.

Donà graduated from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service with a Bachelor of Science. He lives in New York City and was born in Milan, Italy.
