Cody is a strategic defense fellow with the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Space Policy and formerly with the US Space Force’s Strategic Initiatives Group. Before that, he served on active duty in the U.S. Army for five years with light infantry and special operations units including a deployment to Afghanistan. Cody holds a bachelor of arts in International Affairs and Middle East Studies from the University of North Georgia and a master of arts in International Economics and Strategic Studies from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
