Benjamin P. Shapiro, Junior Fellow
Benjamin Shapiro is a Master’s Student at the International Space University in Strasbourg, France, and a recent graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. At Cornell, he studied economics and astronomy, with an interest in decision-making and strategic behavior, particularly in the space domain. He has held internships in NASA’s Office of the Chief Technologist and at the Aerospace Corporation where he performed cost estimation, economic and market analysis, and technology forecasting for National Security Space. Growing up in the beautiful US Virgin Islands, Benjamin spent his nights looking skyward. As an aspiring astropreneur, he is working to engineer a sustainable future in space and here on Earth, exposing capital to and matching it with extraordinary ideas.
