Sophia Porter serves as the program manager for the Ilan Ramon Scholarship, which provides financial support for Israeli citizens to attend the nine-week Space Studies Program hosted by the International Space University.

Sophia works at AI safety and research company Anthropic, where she serves as technical program manager for the company’s Responsible Scaling Policy, a first-of-its-kind AI risk management framework. Sophia studied physics and applied mathematics at Johns Hopkins University, and spent her early career managing the BE-4 rocket engine test operations team for Blue Origin.
