Christian Zur, Executive Director
Christian Zur is the Executive Director of the Institute of Space Commerce, where he leads all aspects of the Institute’s policy, research, and operations priorities and engagement with thought leaders and industry organizations.
Previously, Christian led the Procurement and Space Industry Council at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and served in numerous governmental roles including NASA’s independent review of the ISS National Laboratory, Professional Staff Member on the House Armed Services Committee, and as counsel to the chair of the Defense Policy Board.
Christian received his B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and his M.P.A. from George Mason University in Virginia. He also is a graduate of the U.S. Naval War College’s Command and Staff College. His articles have been featured in publications such as Defense News, Scientific American, Space News, and The Hill.
