Extensive literature published over the last 25 years has explored the concept of the commercialization of space, particularly in low-Earth orbit. A significant amount of this literature focuses on content that presents options on the approach – how to do it. Yet another significant segment concentrates on the vehicular aspect – how to get there. Still others center around the ‘favorite idea,’ where commercialization is the stage upon
which to display this ‘great idea.’
